Chick N Badger is a 1992 chestnut gelding by Peppy San Badger and out of Chick Tari.  He was purchased from the Atwood Ranch as a two year old, and is the foundation of our performance horse operation.  He was trained in cutting and proved to be very cowy but unfortunatly had limited showing.  He does have some NCHA earnings and a couple AQHA points.  He's the kind of horse anyone would feel honored to sit in the middle of while working a cow.
In the Spring of 2015 our Chick N Badger was humanly put to rest due to severe colic.  But the great ones live on in our hearts.
His greatest accomplishments have come through his progeny.   Peppy Lil Hotrodder has proven to be quite the show horse in the cutting pen, with NCHA earnings of $30,000+.   Miriam is currently riding an own son, Kickin Lil Peppy  and has been successful in the American Ranch Horse Association accumilating points in all the 'ranch' classes including: ranch riding, ranch cutting, ranch reining, working cow, trail, ranch roping,  ranchmanship and conformation.
