Bar None Performance Horses, which is owned by Miriam's father, Kerm Naylor. Together, we breed, train and sell high quality performance bred horses. We have cutting horses for sale and reining horses for sale. Our stock goes back to Peppy San Badger, Smart Little Lena, Hold That Cow, and many more great performance horses. So we have alot of stock that goes back to the cutting horse pen and the reining horse pen. We take alot of pride in our group of studs, broodmares, and offspring that we have put together here in Lafayette Indiana. June 24, 2009 was a very difficult day for Hidden Acres Ranch and Bar None Performance Horses. Smart N Haida, an own son of Smart Little Lena, a very nice finished cutting horse, and one of our ranch sires, had to be euthanized due to a progressive degeneration of the cartilage in his stifle joints on both back legs. While we only had this stallion for about 3 years, we are very pleased with the babies we have raised by him. His 3 year old daughter, Smart Haida Anne, has made a very nice cutting horse and has gone to several small futurities!! We also have two yearlings, and three weanlings by this fine stallion. All of these colts should make great cutting horses, with a ton of cow and the pedigree to back them up. He will be greatly missed by our operation!! |

Every outfit has what they consider their matriarch mare. And we consider Fancy Lil Peppy ours. This mare is by Cougarand, an own son of Peppy San Badger, and out of Fancy Peppys Forty. Miriam and I received this mare, as a yearling, from her dad as our wedding present. We broke this mare, trained her to be a reining horse, won her ROM in AQHA Open Reining, and put a little bit of National Reining Horse Association money on her. She has raised us five great babies, that have all made very nice reining horses. Her 2 year old gelding, HAR Hesa Fancy Texan, is riding great, and is going to make a very nice reining horse as well. But that's what your matriark mare does. They have colts that you absolutely enjoy and look forward to the next one!! |
